When Xtreme Cheer's Atomic-X came to Limelight Music Productions for their 2025-2026 season, they came in as a small team of 11 — already a Top 6 Worlds team from one of the toughest Senior Medium Coed divisions of all time. Choreographed by Blake Johnson, the mission this year was clear: don't just make a statement. Win the whole thing. They did. Atomic-X captured National Champion gold at Gold Rush Supernationals AND walked off the All Star Worlds floor in 2026 as 2026 All Star World Champions. Producer Andy Jones built this fully original Centerstage X mix around the team's bold, character-defining theme: Atomic.
Meet Atomic-X
Atomic-X is Xtreme Cheer's Senior Level 6 Co-Ed flagship team — based in Connecticut and built on a small but mighty identity that defines everything they do. The roster is just 11 athletes deep. Their motto says it all: small in number, but unmatched in force, heart, and determination. In a sport where many of the biggest programs run rosters of 30+, Atomic-X proves that elite cheer isn't about how many you bring — it's about who you bring.
Last season, Atomic-X made one of the loudest statements in the cheer world: a Top 6 finish at Worlds in Senior Medium Coed — universally acknowledged as one of the toughest divisions of all time. That performance set the stage for everything that came next.
For 2025-2026, Atomic-X partnered with choreographer Blake Johnson on a routine packed with high-energy elite skills and unforgettable moments. Their mission: turn last year's statement into this year's championship. They captured National Champion gold at Gold Rush Supernationals — and then walked off the All Star Worlds floor in 2026 as 2026 All Star World Champions.
The Theme — Atomic
The Atomic concept is exactly the kind of bold, character-driven theme that fully original production was built for. Every musical choice serves the story — alert, escalation, detonation, dominance. Four elements that defined the sound:

"Atomic X detected. All personnel clear the zone. Evacuated immediately." Sets the explosive tone in the first 8-counts.

"When the bombs drop, you know we'll end up on top!" — a crowd-igniting battle cry that became the team's anthem.
◉ Countdown to Detonation

Custom explosion sound effects engineered to land on the team's biggest skills — basket impacts, stunt hits, tumble passes. Every "bomb drop" lyric is paired with sonic detonation.
