When Cheer Extreme Calvert's Senior Sharks came to Limelight Music Productions for their 2025-2026 season — their debut season as a brand-new team — they came with one clear mission: build an identity from scratch. Make it bold. Make it fierce. Make every other team in the water know exactly who they are. Producer Andy Jones built this fully original Centerstage X mix around the team's character-defining theme: Sharks.
Meet the Senior Sharks
The Senior Sharks are Cheer Extreme Calvert's newest Senior Level 2 All-Girl team — a brand-new program in their inaugural season, building their competitive identity from the ground up. The gym colors are teal, black, and white. The mascot is the shark. The mission is simple: walk onto the floor every weekend and remind the cheer world that new doesn't mean small.
Cheer Extreme Calvert is part of the broader Cheer Extreme Allstars family — one of the most respected program names in cheerleading — and Calvert's Maryland gym continues that legacy with a culture built on female empowerment, strength, and confidence. The Senior Sharks embody every bit of that culture: bold, fierce, predatory energy, with a "swim with us at your own risk" attitude that defines the team's debut season.
For 2025-2026, the team's competition slate runs through Gold Rush, Mardi Gras, and All Star Worlds — a debut tour built to test the new program against elite competition right out of the gate. The Senior Sharks chose Limelight Music Productions to build the soundtrack for that journey.
