When Eclipse Allstars Discovery came to Limelight Music Productions for their 2025-2026 season, they came in as the defending Summit National Champions — having won International Summit in 2025 with a 99.2, the highest-scoring Level 2 routine of the entire competition. Three-quarters of the way through the 2025-2026 season, Discovery had to make a forced division change — moving from U18 to U16 Level 2 with limited time to recalibrate. They didn't just adapt. They walked off the International Summit floor with a Top 10 finish in their new division. Producer Andy Jones built this fully original Centerstage X mix around Discovery's bold theme: Space Mission.
Meet Eclipse Allstars Discovery
Discovery is Eclipse Allstars' Level 2 flagship team — a UK powerhouse program known for clean, elite, technically sharp cheerleading and a culture that treats pressure as a privilege. Every athlete on this roster pours their heart into every session, and they thrive when the music reflects punchy, impactful, precise performance.
Last season, Discovery had an almost undefeated run — placing 1st at every competition except one — and they walked off the International Summit floor as National Champions, scoring a 99.2: the highest-scoring Level 2 routine of the entire competition. That performance set the bar high for everything that came next.
For 2025-2026, Discovery returned with more drive than ever — and a completely new creative direction. Last year's theme was disco/party (the team's affectionate nickname is still "Disco" because of it). This year? A futuristic Space Mission — a race to the top of the cheer galaxy, ending with a "party on the moon" callback to the team's identity.
Three-quarters of the way through the season, Discovery faced an unexpected challenge: a forced division shift from U18 Level 2 to U16 Level 2. Mid-season division changes are some of the hardest things a competitive team can navigate — limited time to adjust, athletes off the new roster, choreography needing recalibration. Most teams lose a step. Discovery still earned a Top 10 finish at International Summit. That's what an elite culture looks like.

The Mission Control Opening Voiceover
The opening sequence pairs the "Eclipse Allstars to Mission Control" voiceover with a stunt-in-the-air moment — the flyer is the mission commander, signaling the team to begin. She's mid-"moonwalk" in the centre stunt while the voiceover lands. That kind of frame-perfect choreo-to-audio alignment is only possible when the music is built around the routine, not the other way around.

A "Launching in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!" countdown engineered to land each number on the precise count each scale stunt hits its peak. It turns the staggered build into a literal rocket launch — and the audience can't help but count along.

Zero Gravity Sound Design
An "Entering zero gravity" voiceover with slow-motion sound design built specifically for the pyramid inversion entrance. Time slows. Air thins. The crowd holds their breath. Then the explosion when gravity returns lands twice as hard. Only possible with Centerstage X's fully original engineering.
